2025 Juneteenth – Wilcox Park

This year Westerly Anti-Racism Coalition (Westerly ARC) will be sponsoring the 5th annual celebration of Juneteenth in Wilcox Park on June 19th from 11-1. With a theme of “And Still We Rise – a Celebration of Community, Resilience, and Hope”, the celebration will include:

• guest speakers
• community spirit awards,
• student essay contest awards
• story telling
• music and dancing
• food
• informational tables for community organizations
• activities for children

The Dante Society will have an information table at the event, providing information on membership as well as upcoming events.
