DESCRIPTION:This year Westerly Anti-Racism Coalition (Westerly ARC) will be sponsoring the 5th annual celebration of Juneteenth in Wilcox Park on June 19th from 11-1. With a theme of “And Still We Rise – a Celebration of Community\, Resilience\, and Hope”\, the celebration will include: \n\nguest speakers\ncommunity spirit awards\,\nstudent essay contest awards\nstory telling\nmusic and dancing\nfood\ninformational tables for community organizations\nactivities for children\n\nThe Dante Society will have an information table at the event\, providing information on membership as well as upcoming events.
