2025 Italian Lessons Information

In line with promoting and fostering the community’s awareness of Italian culture, the society is pleased to support Italian language classes.  Sessions of 6 classes are offered at various levels of experience,  open to the public.  This page summarizes the general details on the Italian language sessions.  Please review the calendar entry for each session that interests you as that is where  specific details and updates for that session will be posted.

General information on the sessions (unless stated otherwise in the calendar listing of that session):

• Each session will consist of 6 classes, each held on the same day of the week and running 6 weeks
• Classes will be held at the Westerly Senior Center, and will run in the evening from 6:30 to 8:00
• Sessions require a minimum number of participants.  A session may be cancelled if a minimum number of participants do not enroll.
• Appropriate handouts are provided and homework is assigned in order to prepare for the next class.
• Individual classes may be rescheduled due to holidays, weather, or other unanticipated issues.  This may result in the session lasting longer than 6 weeks.
• The cost is $130 per session of 6 classes.  Members of our society, in good standing at the start of the first class of the session, will be given a discount paid by the society.
